Sophie E. Yang

Sophie E. Yang is a graduate research assistant and a doctoral student in the School of Social Work, Portland State University. She has been working around young people at risk, and their resilience. The primary focus of her work is to support individuals who face traumatic experiences.

Assisting to Dr. Mary Oschwald, she engages in conducting telephone interviews with CIL staff members and consumers with disabilities who have received the Our Lives Interpersonal Violence (IPV) awareness intervention, in the maintenance of the Our Lives website, and in writing the technical assistance manual to describe program adoption.
