Larry Grable

As Executive Director of (SCIL) in Claremont, California, Larry is responsible for overseeing day to day operations, grant writing, human resources, program management and financial management. SCIL is a nonprofit Independent Living Center, 1 of 28 in California. Our Mission Statement is SCIL seeks to empower all persons with any disability, in their quest for greater personal independence, and to advocate for a barrier-free society.

Larry also serves as Vice Chair of the California Foundation for Independent Living Centers. He also serves as a Commissioner on the San Bernardino County Ageing Commission. And also as a Member at Large of the Claremont Chamber of Commerce. Prior to this Larry worked and retired from the State of California. He worked for the State Senate as a Field Representative for Senator James Brulte and also as Director of the Governors Inland Empire Field Office during the Schwarzenegger administration.
