Protection and Advocacy (P&A) System

February 20, 2018

Every state must, under mandate of the federal government, have a statewide organization dedicated to protect and advocate for the rights of individuals who experience a disability. (These are sometimes referred to as the ‘State P & A.’) You can find out more information about the P & A system in general, contact information for the one in your state, and a wealth of information and issue briefs on disability-related policy issues at the website of the National Disability Rights Network.
